New timeline, with Nov go-live, has been approved. Next round of training is sccheduled for end of July, just prior to user acceptance testing (UAT) with training of extended team in early Sept, just prior to the start of dual entry.
Build a high-speed network infrastructure within the new College of Business (CoB) building to electronically link select classrooms together providing the ability to immediately broadcast a classroom to other classrooms or conference spaces within the building and provide backbone for adding additional spaces as needed.

Network switches have been installed and 'test ports' are active on the equipment.
Increase security to UNL network by: restricting off-campus access to UNL-owned public IP addresses, inventory and make exceptions to current public facing services, and reviewing and making recommendations for exceptions and service consolidations.

Inventory, restrictions and exception requirements for 32 buildings consisting of 56 subnets have been completed. An additional 12 buildings, and 24 subnets have been scheduled. Thirty-two buildings and 71 subnets remain.
Implement a virtual desktop and application enviornment using the VMware Horizon platform. This system will initially serve as the sole VDI for UNL and ITS ES, with the eventual goal of rolling UNO's VDI in. UNK currently does not have VDI implemented, but this system will be offered to them as well. Virtual desktops and applications are used by students, faculty and staff to access desktops and applications from anywhere, on any device, at any time.

Timeline has been revised to include work to address an Active Direct security issue. Waiting for completion of AD exceptions to ensure a 'monitor and mitigate' process before moving forward with deployment efforts.
Implement Zoom as a web conference and online teaching option.
The proposal for Zoom as a service at UNL is ready for the Directors to review at their next meeting. Next steps will be based on the Directors' approval.
