OneIT Update on Website and Sessions

May 4, 2017

Dear ITS Staff,

As we continue to solicit your feedback on the OneIT Initiative, we wanted to continue to update you on ways you can keep informed and stay involved.

See the Website

• We’ve launched the new website with all of the updates made to date, as well as information on the process, the Core Team and Service Team.

Come to the Listening Sessions

• There are listening sessions planned at a couple of the campuses. Please come. Ask questions. Listen. Be engaged in the process. We want to hear your feedback.

Refresh Yourself on the FAQ

• We’ve posted many of the common questions we’ve heard about the OneIT Initiative process, and added a few more based on your recent feedback.

Give Feedback or Ask Questions

• This includes a way to give feedback, including ways to give that feedback or pose questions anonymously. You’re encouraged to identify yourself because this may help us follow up or clarify, as well as respond to your question directly, but it is not required.

Recommendations will be made in mid-May to Mark Askren for his review. Following that, Mark will be bring forward his final recommendation to President Hank Bounds

Thank you for everything you do and your continued support as we re-envision IT at the University of Nebraska.

Remember, at the end of the day, we are coming together under a unified division to help the University of Nebraska and the campuses reach their strategic goals.
