The University of Nebraska takes the health and safety of our students, faculty and staff very seriously. We encourage students, faculty and staff to be mindful of their health and wellness as concerns of coronavirus grow.
Global and US health officials continue to address the spread of the novel coronavirus and COVID-19 infection and relay guidance. NU leadership, in collaboration with the Governor of Nebraska and state health officials, are also monitoring the situation and will provide updates to our University-wide community as changes occur.

What We're Doing to Help
A university is a place where people think about the future—and act to make that future better. During the pandemic, our faculty, staff and students have been hard at work figuring out ways to help others: doctors, nurses, and other essential workers. People in the community who have been impacted by COVID-19. K-12 students who are now learning to learn online. Businesses who are struggling to stay open. The list goes on and on.

University of Nebraska Emergency Assistance Fund
The University of Nebraska System is working to support the needs of students, faculty and staff affected by COVID-19. One of those ways is our Emergency Assistance Fund, which enables the university to help currently enrolled students and current university employees (faculty and staff) who face financial hardship resulting from emergency or crisis situations.
