A number of IT projects span across the university and involve the collaborative effort of all the Information Technology Service departments. When possible, units are working together to find common solutions. Each campus must also address their own specific needs. The below dashboard identifies a number of collaborative IT projects as well as high priority campus specific efforts that will enable One University. Four Campuses. One Nebraska.

A migration of server infrastructure and services to Amazon infrastructure for cost effectiveness and scalability.
Implementation has been put on hold pending outcomes of OneIT initiative.
Blackboard has been replaced at UNK and UNL. UNO is evaluating the replacement (Canvas by Instructure).
Replace unsupported equipment with Alcatel Network Systems.
ProofPoint is an appliance to prevent malicious phishing attempts against UNO employees. UNO will be implementing this system to prevent these attempts from making their way into inboxes.
The current parking system from Boss software is being replaced with a more modern system called T2, which is also being used at other NU campuses.

Application is live and being used by parking for management of permits and enforcement. LPR equipment has been installed on trucks and garages on Dodge St. campus. Pacific St. campus garage will be installed by end of June. Permits for 2017-18 go on sale on July 1.
