Clinical Trials Management System (CTMS)

UNMC and Nebraska Medicine are partnering together to implement an integrated information system that will be used on all clinical trial work throughout the enterprise. Forte OnCore is a clinical research management system that will optimize processes and workflows, increase patient recruitment, improve billing and compliance, and streamline communication. It is also an important component to maintain NCI designation for the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center.

iExcel

iEXCEL is an educational technology initiative to revolutionize health professions education through hands-on learning in realistic but simulated environments with the goal of improving the outcomes of health care for the state of Nebraska and humanity. This initiative encompasses advanced information technology infrastructure, advanced simulation and immersion technology, new buildings and facilities and new technical staff. The immediate impact is to all of the UNMC campus, our One Nebraska health facilities, multiple UN partners and national and international partners and collaborators.

Integration of the UNMC Information Technology Services and Nebraska Medicine Enterprise Technology Services departments into one combined Information Technology department that provides technology to the enterprise as a strategic asset. Technology that is critical for us to deliver our shared mission statement to 'lead the world in transforming lives to create a healthy future for all individuals and communities through premier educational programs, innovative research and extraordinary patient care.
